Once again, Subscription Summit was an opportunity for the subscription community to come together and share their successes and learnings, tips and tricks and have a lot of fun in Austin, TX. This year the Summit hosted their first annual CUBE awards, and Ignite is extremely proud to represent the following CUBE award winners - Blue Apron, Kiwi Crate, Winc (formally Club W) and GlobeIn!

This begs the question, how do all of these accolades translate into expanding affiliate and influencer programs? We’ll explain:

Reputation is everything in the subscription space. When you can bring the confidence, execution and a customer-first approach to be the best brands in the space, high value content publishers and influencers are significantly more likely to take on the risk of promoting your brand on a performance basis.  

Having unique, customer-centric content for publisher's to share is important. For example, Winc won ‘Best Customer Service’ partially due to their policy to return any bottle of wine for a full refund if you don't like it. Positioning Winc as best in class with a unique story and offering, has helped Ignite scale their affiliate program which ultimately lowers their acquisition costs.

Kiwi Crate took home the CUBE award for Best Social Campaign, which has allowed them to reach and connect with niche audiences for each of their kids boxes targeting different ages and stages of children. As a result, Ignite has leveraged their award winning social campaigns with affiliate placements across targeted podcasts and home schooling influencers, to increase brand awareness and drive new subscribers. These social influencers have appreciated the amount of unique content available and age-appropriate boxes to choose from, which helps them ensure they are promoting the crate most relevant to their audience. 

It's been great to see our clients' hard work pay off, both across their marketing initiatives, as well as on stage accepting these coveted CUBE awards.  A commitment to best in class offerings, a unique and customer centric story, and reaching a highly targeted market have all contributed to the overall success our clients have seen in the affiliate and influencer space.
