About Vivino
Vivino is the largest online wine marketplace and the most downloaded wine app in the Android and Apple app stores. The platform utilizes its user’s data to recommend personalized wine selections per user for wine drinkers of every level from novices to connoisseurs. Launched in 2010, Vivino has grown increasingly popular. Users can scan a bottle of wine that they’re enjoying into the Vivino – from there the app recognizes and auto-fills key information such as that wine’s producer and vintage. Vivino makes purchasing wine affordable and easy; when a user scans the label of a bottle, the proprietary platform provides pricing and purchase information in addition to user ratings. The Vivino Marketplace has received several rounds of funding, most recently raising $20 million in Series C funding in early 2018. Since the platform’s inception, Vivino has grown an audience of over 35 million users with more than 10 million varieties of wine.

Strategy
The Ignite team is excited to implement their strategy and continue to build the Vivino affiliate program. Senior Technical Account Manager, Lindsay Hazlett, says scaling new customer acquisition and expanding Vivino’s buying audience is the team’s primary focus. “We plan to build out Vivino’s presence throughout the entire funnel, in addition to getting Ignite top publishers integrated and educated on Vivino’s offerings.”
