Perform[cb] Launches Robinhood Affiliate Program
Ignite OPM is excited to announce the launch of the Robinhood Affiliate Program!
Robinhood is a financial app in the investment space used by millions to create and grow a portfolio and invest in stocks, ETFs, cryptocurrencies without commissions directly from a smartphone or desktop screen. Initially launching in 2014, Robinhood was a quick fan favorite. Being the first finance app to win an Apple Design Award for its simple, but aesthetically pleasing design and features. This was the first of many pieces of recognition for Robinhood. For short, Robinhood allows users the chance to invest in a share of stock for cheap. Without having to pay large commissions on investments to a broker while making the investment process intuitive and mobile has made this a popular way to invest. This app gives you all the tools you need to purchase a variety of stocks.
When the app first launched, it was an invite-only platform. When capabilities were opened to the public in 2015, Robinhood had a waitlist of nearly 700,000 according to Fortune. By the end of its first year of public operation, Robinhood facilitated over $1B in transactions for traders according to TechCrunch. In 2018, Robinhood added cryptocurrencies to its product buying and selling investment opportunities and the app’s userbase doubled to four million active users in a short period of time. Robinhood has given access to stocks, investment trading, and funds to many people, want to be traders, who did not previously have access to these investing opportunities.
