Today Quay Australia is known worldwide for their trend-setting, oversized sunglasses, but the company didn’t start out that way. 14 years ago, Quay was born as a roadside stand for festival-goers and music artists. The brand was inspired by the vibrant free spirits attending and performing at festivals in and around Melbourne. From there, Quay quickly grew into the cool, bold brand we know and love. Currently the Quay is sold in more than 35 countries with over 2,000 retailers around the world. Quay’s collaborators range from Kylie Jenner to Instagram influencer, Jasmine Sanders, and YouTube phenomenon, Desi Perkins. One of the best parts about the brand is how affordable their products are – regardless of how large the brand blows up or who their collaborators are, Quay’s maintained accessibility since day one.
Quay has several fans in the Ignite office, many of which are in line with the brand’s mantra of “the more oversized the better”. As for the launch of Quay’s affiliate program, Senior Account Manager, Lindsay Hazlett couldn’t be more thrilled. With the brand’s following growing on a daily basis, the team is ready to hit the ground running to continue growing Quay’s ROAS and sales volume. Their strategy focuses primarily on incrementality, working to get high visibility placements and exclusive discounts, while optimizing existing publishers to get the most incremental lift from the affiliate program.
