About LuMee
LuMee is the “influencer approved” LED-light phone case that features the perfect light for the ultimate selfie for its users every time. LuMee was launched in 2014 by its inventor and founder, Allan Shoemake. As a professional photographer, Shoemake found the light emitted by phones disappointing for the selfie connoisseur. Looking to solve that problem, Shoemake created a foam core board with twinkle lights attached to attach to his laptop screen when taking video calls with his daughter. Shoemake’s wife encouraged him to apply for a patent and create a real prototype design, and thus the LuMee case was born. Since hitting the market, LuMee cases have won the approval of celebrities and influencers such as Kim Kardashian and have been retailed by Apple. After partnering with Kim Kardashian in January 2016, LuMee purchases doubled its 2015 sales in one month.
Strategy
Although it’s unmistakably in the tech, gadget, and mobile device category, LuMee’s product and target audience is the perfect fit for Ignite as we continue to strengthen and broaden our reach within the fashion and lifestyle vertical. Currently managing a program with similar product categories, the LuMee affiliate team says they look forward to publisher recruitment, channel diversification, and implementing fun, creative promotional strategies and experiences. The team feels the key to success with LuMee’s program will depend on strengthening LuMee’s brand recognition while ensuring positive month-over-month growth at the most efficient rate possible.
