About IPSY
IPSY is a monthly subscription box that includes five handpicked sample-size beauty products designed specifically for the subscriber’s wants and needs. This box is rightfully coined the “Glam Bag” and only costs $10 per month with free shipping. In 2018, after seeing vast success with the Glam Bags, IPSY expanded its subscription offering to include the Glam Bag Plus. With over 3M subscribers, IPSY creates over 10,000 different makeup combos for its monthly Glam Bag members. Founded in 2011, IPSY has worked its way to the top of the beauty subscription space and was recently named the “largest and most engaged beauty subscription in the world, and third largest subscription service after Amazon.” With such phenomenal growth, it’s not surprising that IPSY just announced over half a billion in revenue.
Ignite Account Coordinator, Emily Okrzesik, started subscribing to IPSY’S Glam Bag last year and hasn’t looked back. “I love the fact that I don’t have to pay attention to seasonal makeup trends or worry about replacing makeup regularly because IPSY does it for me. Strategy
The team has been busy strategizing and getting excited to launch with IPSY’s recent rebrand! Ignite Account Coordinator, Stephanie Sorensen, states the team is looking forward to focusing on new customer acquisition. Q1 is expected to be huge for IPSY, so Ignite is taking the time to identify performance partnerships with opportunities ranging from airline rewards to content sites that align with demographics that will grow the program’s quality and volume.
