Ignite OPM launched the Hubble Contacts affiliate program – get pumped!
Hubble Contacts was founded in May of 2016 by young college grads, Ben Cogan and Jesse Horwitz. Ben was disappointed in the rising price of his contact lenses and decided to look into the reasoning behind this steady price increase. After discovering there were only four major manufacturers of contact lenses, Ben and Jesse decided to make moves to change the options that were available to contact-wearers. Hubble Contacts worked with financial advisory firms and life sciences merchant banks to kick of their initial seed funding, which soon led to a meeting with one of the big four FDA-approved contact lens manufacturers. The team found a partner in the manufacturer, St. Shine, and started production of their product. Hubble now produces high-quality daily contact lenses that are more affordable than any other big brand in the space. The team explains they’re able to maintain this low pricing by owning and managing their own supply chain – essentially cutting out the middleman. Now available in the U.S. and 30 countries around the world, Hubble has blown up. With 30 million contact wearers around the world, and 10 million being daily contact users, Hubble’s target audience is vast and growing. At only $30 per month, or $1 per day, Hubble’s daily contact subscription is the cheapest, most convenient option on the market.
Ignite OPM’s Digital Marketing Specialist, Hannah Ervin, has been using Hubble Contacts for over a little less than a year. “I switched optometrists and they wanted to charge me nearly $300 for a 90-day supply of daily contacts. With Hubble’s fantastic promotion, a free 2-week trial, being open to any and everyone, the brand has drawn the interest of large brand name publishers, such as Us Weekly, Buzzfeed, and Business Insider.
